June 26 through August 23, 2015
extended until August 30, 2015.

Marcia Burtt Studio presents “Wanderlust,” an exhibition expanding both literal and artistic boundaries.

The pull to work outside the artist’s usual haunts shows itself in pieces created on site in France, on the near-but-far Channel Islands, and in other places throughout our nation’s vast expanse.

Fresh views lead to new discoveries. Complementing works painted far away are pieces that reflect the drive to experience unknown materials, themes, challenges, or styles—creative wanderlust.

Please join us on Sunday, June 28, 3-5pm, for an artists’ reception and talk by Marcia Burtt and Susan Petty on their recent painting retreat in France. Learn about places to paint and visit, tips for traveling with art supplies, planning your days, and the benefits of getting away from the familiar.
