Marcia Burtt Gallery presents “Summer in Winter,” a group exhibition of paintings celebrating sunny days to brighten our winter months.

Especially in winter we need to escape gloomy everyday lives.
Unbroken blue skies above bright glassy seas, next to paintings of lush woods of the Pacific Northwest and eastern seaboard. Golds and purples intensify summer heat.

Cut flowers and patio furniture illustrate leisurely days spent close to home when we prefer to sit quietly in the sunshine.
