Holiday Exhibition 2015
December 4 through January 17, 2016
Reception
Friday, December 4, 5-7pm
Meet the artists, celebrate the holidays, and eat cookies.
Marcia Burtt Gallery is pleased to present a group show celebrating a year of phenomenal contemporary landscapes.
In our holiday exhibition we welcome three artists to the gallery.
Randall David Tipton’s washes of color combined with textured paint create atmospheric, sometimes fantastic, landscapes to get lost in.
Chris Chapman portrays untarnished rural California with simplicity yet attention to the particular beauties of a single moment.
Marilyn Turtz captures the essence and atmosphere of the Central Coast in small paintings that, through their reductive vision, imply the monumental.
We also present work by gallery artists Robert Abbott, Marcia Burtt, Bill Dewey, Patricia Doyle, Michael Ferguson, Dana Hooper, Mark Kerckhoff, Marilee Krause, Ann Lofquist, Susan Petty, Ian Roberts, Erling Sjovold, Anne Ward, and Jeff Yeomans.
From realism to abstraction, bold color to subtle tones, the natural world is their inspiration for explorations of color, form, pattern, and line.
